Rahama Sadau Reacts to controversial Open back photo, condemns any disrespect to her religion
NEWSMAN, Abuja – Nigerian actress, filmmaker, and singer, Rahama Sadau has taken to social media to break her silence following the buzz surrounding her recent photos
The Kannywood actress on Sunday November 1, 2020, took to her social media handles and shared some of her photos.
She however came under fire as the pictures sparked outrage amongst her Muslim fans after showing off her back in one of the photos.
After several hours of trending online with her religion getting verbally attacked, Sadau who has since taken down the photos, addressed the issue via her official Twitter handle.
Sadau addressed bloggers & everyone that saw a chance to trend, saying “I do not wish for you what you wished upon me. Live & Let Live”
“It’s in human nature to judge others and act as saint, I appreciate those who felt offended & decided to call me through DM’s, Text messages & phone calls. That’s true love & I’m never taking that for granted, EVER!.
“Having mixed followers, bashing each other’s faiths to the extent of creating trends like “Assistant Allah” (subhanallah), raining curses and some tweeting blasphemous words to our Prophet Muhammad (SAW)- this is the height of it and it stands condemnable and regrettable.
Although many agreed that she looked every shade of gorgeous and praised her for being very simple and classy, her choice of outfit was not well received by some of her northern Muslim followers who reminded her that God frowned on such displays, Legit reported.
They accused her of now being too famous to care about the instructions of the prophet and warned her to repent before it is too late.
