Niger: Gunmen abduct students, staff of College in Kagara

NEWSMAN, Minna – Gunmen suspected to be armed bandits on Wednesday invaded Government Science Secondary School in Kagara, Niger State, abducting an unknown number of staff members and students.

The bandits were said to have gathered some staff and students at a place for hours before moving them out of the school premises to an unknown destination, The Nation reported.

The incident comes barely two months after gunmen invaded Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State, kidnapping over 300 students.

The abduction happened when President Muhammadu Buhari was visiting his home state of Katsina.
