Late Abba Kyari buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja – See full pictures
NEWSMAN, Abuja – Late Chief of Staff to President, Abba Kyari’s was on Saturday buried according to Islamic rites at Gudu District Cemetery in Abuja with NCDC officials and sympathisers handling the corpse.
His corpse had earlier been prayed for by Islamic clerics at the presidency’s official Defence Guest House, in Maitama, Abuja.
Kyari died in Lagos after contacting the dreaded Corona virus disease while on a recent trip to Germany last month.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina said the top presidential aide died in Lagos after earlier testing positive to the ravaging Coronavirus.
“The deceased had tested positive to the ravaging COVID-19, and had been receiving treatment. But he died on Friday, April 17, 2020,” Adesina said.
