Joshua to fight Fury come 2021
NEWSMAN – Anthony Joshua has agreed in principle to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury twice.
The fight is schedule to hold in 2021.
Currently Anthony Joshua holds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO titles and he will defend his IBF and WBA crowns against Kubrat Pulev on December 12.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn said, “Anthony Joshua wants to fight Usyk but his focus is on fighting the 32 years Tyson Fury.
“I think it’s about where and of course they’re two British heavyweight world champions, and if one of those fights at least didn’t take place in the UK it would be a shame, PUNCH reported
“If that fight can’t be possible he will 100 per cent fight Ukrainian professional boxer Oleksandr Usyk and if Usyk wants to hang around, Joshua will still fight Oleksandr Usyk,” Hearn said.
“AJ wants the challenge against these great heavyweights and Usyk is a very, very good heavyweight. Usyk’s disadvantage is his size and he’s handicapped in that sense because he’s unbeatable at junior heavyweight, the only way he’s going to get beaten is by fighting guys that are too big for him,” he added.
