Immigration Intercepts Cameroonian with Five Nigerian Passports
NEWSMAN, Abuja – Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has arrested a Male Cameroonian unlawfully possessing multiple passports of different countries, most of which are not in his name.
According to a statement signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, DCI James Sunday, the arrest was done by NIS Border Patrol officers at Yala Border Patrol base in Cross River State.
Comptroller of Cross River State Command, Okey Ezugwu, explained that the forty two year old Suspect named Kouaha Dieudonne, was having two passports, a Cameroonian and Guinea-Bissau passports bearing his name and five Nigerian passports with other different indentities.
Commending Ezugwu, the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede hailed the Officers for a “Job Well done and display of professionalism”, assuring that the arrested migrant will be prosecuted after necessary charges are established for his prosecution in line with Immigration law.
