Days after his defeat, former Kano federal lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin enjoys swing at home
Following the loss of his federal constituency seat which he has attributed to a gang up by some APC leaders against him, former federal lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin is seen here relaxing in a swing at home.
It reminds us of what many did during their childhood days to free their minds.
“Day after the storm…time to take a deep breath, rest and enjoy serenity after 15 years on the fast lane..opportunity to look back, reflect, take stock and prepare for the future #EyeOnTheBall”, the politician who before now represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State tweeted on Tuesday.
He also said he won’t go to court.
“I have congratulated my opponent and will not file petition in court. I will make no further comment on this matter. I urge the media to please respect my decision. This is the end of another beginning. I have moved on!”
Ali Datti Yako of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had scored 48,601 votes to defeat the APC candidate and former chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation who got 13,507 votes at the rerun held on Saturday.
