Abuja City authorities dialogue with transport unions over Zuba traffic gridlock, gives 2-week deadline

NEWSMAN, Abuja – The special taskforce tasked with decongesting traffic in the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday met with transport unions and other stakeholders on decongesting traffic in Zuba expressway.

After over two hours of meeting, Chairman of the taskforce Ikharo Attah gave two weeks to the parties to resolve all their internal differences.

“The dialogue would continue for two weeks to get all operators to move off the road and use the new Bus terminal,” Attah told the transporters.

“If they comply and free the road of indiscriminate parking there would be no need for tougher enforcement,” the taskforce chairman said.
